This set design was for a scenic design class in which I was tasked to create a scale model of the set for our main stage at Concordia University Saint Paul. This was my first go at set designing and model designing as well. We were given no budget so I went for something big with steel I-beams to hold up the second floor which is only used in one or two scenes but I wanted to make it a statement. A lot of the acting in this show takes place around the bar and the tables with a character making it to the phone on stage left and the piano on stage right occasionally and a character who is always at the pin-ball table throughout the whole show.
