After building the puppets for Little Shop of Horrors, I became super inspired to create a muppet style puppet of my own design. Sewing is very unknown territory for me so it took me over an entire year to build up the confidence to start working on it. With guidance from Anna Hill at Concordia University, I started building Rodger in the spring of 2020. Then the pandemic hit and everything came to a stop. With not access to sewing machines and materials I had to put this project on hold. But after the summer was over, I was able to return to the shop and finish him by the end of the year.
