I was tasked to create a four page spread on something that I am passionate about. Rock climbing has been my athletic outlet for some time now and it is becoming more and more popular around the world in the past couple of decades.
Emily Harrington recently set a record, not only for a climbers but especially for female climbers by becoming the first woman to free-climb El Cap, in Yosemite Valley in California, on the Golden Gate Route in under 24 hours, joining a club of four climbers to do so. Although women have free-climbed El Cap in under 24 hours before, Harrington continues to set records and bring women into the highlight of climbing.
